Kurry & Grill, located within the University Korner Travel Plaza, is a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) specializing in Mughlai cuisine, offering a wide variety of authentic Indian and Pakistani dishes. We take pride in serving freshly prepared traditional meals, from flavorful curries to aromatic biryanis.

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate cook specializing in Indian and Pakistani cuisine to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Mughlai dishes and be able to prepare a wide range of authentic Pakistani and Indian foods. This role will involve working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, maintaining high-quality food standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cook, and present authentic Indian and Pakistani dishes, including Mughlai-style curries, kebabs, biryanis, tandoori items, and other traditional favorites.
  • Ensure all food is prepared to Kurry & Grill’s quality standards, maintaining taste and consistency.
  • Manage kitchen operations, ensuring proper hygiene and food safety standards.
  • Follow established recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistent quality and portion sizes.
  • Maintain inventory of spices, ingredients, and supplies necessary for daily operations.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to ensure orders are completed and served in a timely manner.
  • Assist with kitchen cleaning, maintenance, and organization.
  • Collaborate with the management team to optimize kitchen operations and suggest new menu items.
  • Train and assist other kitchen staff as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a cook, chef, or similar role in Indian and/or Pakistani cuisine.
  • Expertise in cooking Mughlai dishes and a variety of curries, tandoori items, and biryanis.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced QSR environment.
  • Knowledge of kitchen safety, hygiene standards, and food preparation regulations.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
