We take pride in serving freshly prepared traditional meals, from flavorful curries to aromatic biryanis.
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate cook specializing in Indian and Pakistani cuisine to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Mughlai dishes and be able to prepare a wide range of authentic Pakistani and Indian foods. This role will involve working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, maintaining high-quality food standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, and present authentic Indian and Pakistani dishes, including Mughlai-style curries, kebabs, biryanis, tandoori items, and other traditional favorites.
- Ensure all food is prepared to Kurry & Grill’s quality standards, maintaining taste and consistency.
- Manage kitchen operations, ensuring proper hygiene and food safety standards.
- Follow established recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistent quality and portion sizes.
- Maintain inventory of spices, ingredients, and supplies necessary for daily operations.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to ensure orders are completed and served in a timely manner.
- Assist with kitchen cleaning, maintenance, and organization.
- Collaborate with the management team to optimize kitchen operations and suggest new menu items.
- Train and assist other kitchen staff as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a cook, chef, or similar role in Indian and/or Pakistani cuisine.
- Expertise in cooking Mughlai dishes and a variety of curries, tandoori items, and biryanis.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced QSR environment.
- Knowledge of kitchen safety, hygiene standards, and food preparation regulations.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
